Artizan Gallery welcomes four artists to the gallery, each with their own interpretation of the abstract theme.
Martin Dutton SWAc has been involved in abstract painting since the 1970’s and his present series on display here is concerned with the intuitive evocation of experiences of Venice – the “serenissima” of the lagoon.
Kim Aldis is a former computer and special effects artists who now spends time taking photographs in and around South Devon.
Cameron Hill is relatively new to exhibiting and was one of our exhibitors in our last exhibition ‘The Anonymous Artist’. He is half Canadian and has produced a series of work based on the Haida and their art.
Finally, in the café we have Paul Ansell, a member of Teignwich Village Artists, who produces vibrant pieces on handmade watercolour paper that give the appearance of floating in the frame in which they sit.
